In 1972 rhett authored a very informative book entitled paunch a white man knife with a red Manama. We were lucky enough to purchase a large portion of rhett stidham's collection from an Estate sale.
His history of the paunch knife company is considered the definitive work on the paunch brand which became the genesis of Winchester knives. Stidham is well known in the knife collecting world and was a long time collector, specializing in selling and trading antique pocketknives as well as custom knives and one of a kind pieces. The KS has provided a wealth of information on Randall made knives that benefit both the novice and the expert.
In 1989 he founded the Randall knife society which counted over 3,000 members world wide. We feel that rhett would have wanted others to have the opportunity to enjoy this elite collection.
Rhett ran a successful knife and antique business.
